That's It?

That was pretty much my reaction when I finished CoD: World at War. The message box popped up telling me I'd unlocked the achievement "War Hero", and I thought "That can't be right. That's the achievement for completing the game."

And it was.

I've been disappointed by CoD:WaW. The solo campaign failed to inspire any excitement, I didn't care about any of the characters, didn't much care about any of the missions. In contrast, playing CoD4 was like starring in a motion picture. I loved the storyline, and was genuinely taken aback at the death of any of the main characters. Hell, I started a new game the day I finished the first one. That was Game of the Year material.

I didn't expact WaW to be as good as CoD 4, but I surely didn't expect it to be this weak.
