Thank God It's Friday

Unfortunately, that means the In-laws arrive tomorrow. The Suck!

Oh well, I'll just bury my head in a book or work on finishing up the small areas of linoleum I haven't gotten to yet.

I think I'll cover my NFL picks for this weekend. Hopefully I can turn things around.

1. Pittsburgh at Cleveland - Wow, both teams are struggling. This could be one of the tougher games to pick, but I don't think it will be. Pittsburgh will pull this one out simply because Cleveland isn't good. Pick: Pittsburgh

2. New England at Green Bay - What could be another tough pick. New England seems to be sliding down, while the Packers have been getting hot of late. However, I can't see a Bill Billicheck coached team lose 3 in a row. Pick: New England

3. Oakland at Kansas City - Interesting game with Trent Green coming back after being injured in the first game of the season. KC could struggle early on, but Oakland won't be able to contain Larry Johnson, and Damon Huard will come in if Green struggles. Pick: Kansas City

4. Minnesota at Miami - What's with all the tough games this week? Minnesota's offense has disappeared. Miami is starting to hit their stride. As much as I'd like to pick Minnesota, I can't. Miami is at home. Pick: Miami

5. Cincinnati at New Oleans - This will probably be the shoot-out of the weekend. Cincinnati can't stop anyone and New Orleans is just amazing this year. It's going to be a close game, but I'm going with the home team. Pick New Orleans

6. Chicago at New York Jets - I don't see the Jets hanging with the Bears. Look for the bears to dominate. Pick: Chicago

7. Tennessee at Philadelphia - Philly is going to pass all day long on Tennessee. The Titas won't be able to establish their run game, and will force Vince Young to pass which Philly's D will capitalize on. Pick: Philadelphia

8. Washington at Tampa Bay - Yikes. You couldn't pay me to watch this game. Washington has lost it's #1 running back, and is starting a rookie QB. Tampa Bay is starting a rookie QB and has a #1 running back that can't run like one. Pick: Tampa Bay

9. St. Louis at Carolina - Another possible shoot-out for the weekend. I think Carolina has the edge with the better defense. Pick: Carolina

10. Atlanta at Baltimore -No Ray Lewis? No Problem? One of the tougher games to pick. Atlanta is on the downslide. Baltimore is one of the best teams in the AFC as well as the best Defense. Pick: Baltimore

11. Bufallo at Houston - Another game you couldn't pay me to watch. Blah vs. Meh. Going with the home team. Pick: Houston

12. Detroit at Arizona - Both teams are better then their records indicate. I think Detroit is better. Pick: Detroit

13. Seattle at San Francisco - San Fran is favored. Seriously? Sorry, Seattle rolls. Pick: Seattle

14. Indianapolis at Dallas - Dallas' secondary will not, cannot, cover the best route-running receivers in the NFL. Pick: Indianapolis

15. San Diego at Denver - Great Offense vs Great Defense. This should be the best game of the weekend. Denver is going to be reduced to relying on their passing game due to injuries. San Diego isn't going to be able to put pressure on Denver's Offense. Tough Pick: San Diego

16. NY Giants at Jacksonville - Last game, last tough choice. NY Giant's defense is hurting due to injuries. Their Offense has been flat with the los of Amani Toomer (selfish bastard). Jacksonville's Offense isn't that great. Pick: NY Giants
