Television Review - Spring Season
Well, most shows haven't started back up yet, but they should next week. Just a little run-down of the shows I will be watching this upcoming spring:
Still Showing
1. Rome Season 2 (HBO) - Season 1 was awesome. Season 2 should be even better. Unfortunately this will be its final season due to the fact that it is massively expensive to create. This season will cover the struggle for power in the vacuum left by the assasination of Caesar. A major power struggle will occur between Mark Anthony and Octavius (Caesar's young nephew). Octavius has rightful claim to be Emporer (Caesar named him as such in his will) but Mark Anthony will push to become Emporer.
2. Heroes (NBC) - Anticipation is high. Although the final 2 episodes of the fall weren't as electrifying as promised, the series is still strong and will remain so.
3. Lost (ABC) - Hopefully more answers will be forthcoming. The fall finale was good, so hopefully the spring season will be better. However, if the producers of the show don't start providing more answers, I think viewership will decline.
4. Prison Break (FOX) - The fall season finale was almost predictable. The story better provide some new twists, otherwise it's going to lose me.
5. The Unit (CBS) - Still a good popcorn show. I finally read the book "Inside Delta Force" which provided insite into the early creation of the unit and some of its members.
6. The Shield (FX - March) - 2nd to the last season for this great series. This season will focus on Vic trying to find the murderer of Lem. Little does he know it's one of his own men. This season will probably be depressing with the death of Lem hanging over the team, but should still be good.
Season's Over
1. Dexter (Showtime) - Wow. One of the best original series I've seen in a long time. Dark, creepy, yet, you cheer for the man who is a serial killer. The writing is excellent on this show. Picked up for a 2nd Season. I've read the 1st book, and although the series deviated somewhat from the book in the end, they did it masterfully so that nothing was lost between the two.
2. Sleeper Cell 2 (Showtime) - Another Great series. Only 8 episodes which ran 8 days straight. The first season of this series was great. Season 2 was good, but short. However, they left it open for a Season 3. Oded Fehr is great in this show.
Dropped
1. The Office (NBC) - Great show, but I just couldn't fit it in. I have Season's 1&2 on DVD, so I will save those for a rainy day.
2. Grey's Anatomy (ABC) - Just ain't interested anymore.
3. Big Love (HBO) - I've lost interest. The first season was interesting, but I don't have any desire to watch season 2.
4. Dirt (FX) - Ughhh.... Horrible IMO. I watched the Pilot episode, and won't watch anymore. Granted, it pushes the limits on sex and nudity, but those don't always define a show for me.
Name this Actor
(No pics, just a description)
Camera Pans in.... Character is standing outside, at an angle to the camera and surveying a scene. His hands are on his hips.
Line: "You don't spend a thousand dollars on clothes" pause, pause, (Puts sunglasses on) pause, pause,
"That you're never going to wear."
Camera Pans out...

Watch for the sunglasses being put on almost everytime, as well as the dramatic pause.
It's funny!
