\"teaching\" someone new

Woot! I got a PM today from one of the new ladies on the site. She would like to start playing some halo and was wondering if I could help her out.  lol, Im not sure how much I can "teach" her, but I know I can put together a kind room. I still have horror flash backs of playing lowman on lock out  my first week and getting yelled at for not having kills.  Yeah, just to let you all know. I dont care who you are. If I am party leader and I hear that happening in my room, you are booted. Like the person isnt aware they dont have a kill yet. Its not like they are trying to piss off their whole team.  Im still so effected by that game that 70% of the time I will leave the room if they are going to play it. Not in a snitty type of way, more of a paniky, I dont want to let my team down, type of way.
Anyway, back to helping the noobies. Im excited to help a new person out, If it hadnt been for Cheapbamboo, Grim, and others (especially OMM) putting up with my noobness, then I probably would have quit.
Its just a game, if you lose, it doesnt matter.  I wont be able to teach anyone to play like Fire, but hopfully, I will be able to show they how to play and have fun.
Is it sad Im so excited about this? lol

Hey lady, since my 360 broke and I'll be setting the 180 back up, i'm more than happy to be cannon fodder for some one new when i'm online. Send me an invite and I'll pop over if you don't mind some OMM folks joining in some of the H2 goodness.

Very cool of you. I suppose that is something to be excited about. I don't get more than 5 or 6 kills a game. hehe. But I still have alot of fun watching my death animation and people corpse humping me over...and over...and over...

I hardly ever play ranked games. Its probably been a month since I have played one. Lots of customs and lots of BTBslayer with all 2o2p peeps on my team. Im sure moesley gets sick of carrying my ass all the time, but for some reason he lets me in the room lol. \r

Someone once said to me to step it up in a low man game needless to say I spent the rest of the game killing him over and over again.

Good luck Lady, you have a lot more to offer than you realize to a noobie. I'd sure be frustrated if I didnt get help from good folk like yourself. Yeah those lowball things can be humiliating, might do some fiesta though so you can give her some experience plus some smg tacts too (the weapon we used to hate so much). I'll but out now, Cheers.

I figured as much meemoos. But just knowing that the option is out there to help peoples beginning experiances better makes me stoaked.
