Summer project
Came into some money recently and decided that I'd get a motorcycle and learn to ride. I've always wanted one, always looked at bikers wishing I could ride too, but time, money, space, and thinking about it never really came all together at once until now. Too bad it's so late in life, but better late than never! I should have done this when I was in my twenties, but then, I don't know if I would have survived it since back then I tended to drive much faster than I do now.
I took the Motorcycle Safety Foundation Basic Rider Course and got my license by passing the test. Went riding with a couple of experienced riders who gave me tips and helped me through getting on the real roads. I've got a Yamaha R6, 2008 Special Edition the dealer had marked down since it was last year's model. Now I'm hooked. I love this thing. Rides like a dream, corners and handles great. It's a beautiful bike and I just love riding it. I just want to ride it everywhere now. Anyway, don't have many pictures yet, but here's me at the MSF class and one with the bike.
