Suckage

Bah... I got in a wreck during lunch today.

Some ass-clown from a merge lane cut-off the vehicle in front of me. He was able to break and angle a bit to the left, but that only allowed me to angle to the right, which was the merge lane, and was full of vehicles, so I couldn't go that direction..

I ended up rear-ending him

I drive a 1993 Chevy Lumina with 205k miles on it. He was driving a 2004 Ford F-150. Guess who had more damage? Me. Him, barely anything. His bumper got bent downwards a bit, but other than that, nothing. Maybe $500 total damage.

Me, crumpled hood, and lights cracked. My car is still driveable, and surprisingly, should be legal to drive at night as all the lights still work. I'll just have to do a little duct taping to make sure they stay in place.

This just shortens the time line my family had for getting a newer vehicle for me to drive. I'm still going to see if I can squeeze 3-4 more months out of this POS, as it is paid for and is low maintenance. I'm not going to repair it as the repairs would cost more then the car is worth.
