Stupid Power Failure

So there I was, dinner completed (grilled Mahi Mahi, wild rice) Dishes in the dishwasher, wife and daughter off watching TV in the bedroom, and a nice tall glass of cold beer. The night was young and full of gaming potential. I sit down to fire up the Xbox. Oh I can feel the horde coming. XBL comes up, BOOM invite. I jump into a game with outsider, Tarheel, Syph and a new guy whos name my old addled mind cant remember at the moment. we move to a good location to fight from when out of nowhere, the freaking power fails in my town.

Jumping Jesus on a pogostick. It never fails. Stupid power company said some drunk driver crashed his car into a power substation and the lights would be out for "A few hours".

I missed out on 2-3 hours of prime gaming because some drunk ass jerk decided to drive to the store or wherever he was going and ruined MY fun time.
