Ok well it won't be very "star-bloggy". I'll just do a little SC2 stuff up front.

Still playing of course :) I had a massive failure on Thursday night in team games where I focus fired my own mothership and killed it with my Void Rays....*sigh* lol oh well it was hella funny and we won the game anyway. It was a 3v3 and we all went Mass Void Ray / Mothership (all 3 protoss).....seems unbeatable lol Played a 1v1 yesterday on my laddeer (currently ~rank 13) and this douche bag Terran tries a base trade with me. Of course I know what his lame ass plan is - he's going to base trade and fly his base off the map....which he does. Unfortuantely for this douche nozzle at the time of the base trade I had enough money to rebuild my base and that's what I did....got some Void Rays out and found him floating off the side of the map. "What a fucking loser" - I messaged that guy with that exact message. The beginning of the match (first 8 or 9 minutes) was the base trade....then it was 15 minutes of me rebuilding my base, scouting around looking for him and eventually finding him and killing him.....so aggrevating. I think buildings should need a 1 minute cool down where they can't fly for every minute of flight.....or something. Oh well - easy win really but that guy was a douche. Anywho it killed my desire to play after that.....and maybe I wanted to play a little more Skyrim...

Yep picked up Skyrim this weekend. I hated Oblivion and was only mildly fond of Fall Out....so really I had no interest in Skyrim (except that a lot of the videos looked pretty bad ass). However both my boys loved Oblivion so we picked it up. The game is really really good. I mean it still has a lot of the flaws that Oblivion has (floaty melee combat, questionable AI, bad animation / character modeling, no emotional attachment to the characters or towns in the world etc.) but I really like the quests / story and of course all the dangling carrots (leveling up, becoming more powerful, cool items, interesting crafting - just evolving your badass anyway you want.) and the world is of course huge, diverse and beautiful. After playing Dark Souls the combat is definetly a let down in Skyrim. And I'm a big Dragon Age fan and I wish your party had some of those cool party mechanics and that you could project your characters attitude through conversation (i.e. be a complete smart ass, or a dick, or whatever...you have opportunity to show a little attitude....but really not anywhere near the level of Dragon Age) But anyway as a hater of Oblivion and mild liker of Fall Out - I would say Skyrim is a lot better than both of those games and worth the purchase if you liked those games even a little bit. I'm not sure if the game is the best RPG or game ever yet :) as some reviews would have you believe but I think it is good and full of great content.

Last night in Skyrim I stole a horse (that's how I roll) and I encountered 3 bandits in the woods so I jumped off my horse and started fighting these guys - I look over and my horse is rearing up and stomping these fuckers lol it was awesome....best pet I ever owned - he was just going psycho on these guys jumping on them and stuff. I lost him unfortuantely when I went in a building he took off....oh well he was kind of free spirit anyway.

Peace!

Lol! Killer horse, that's great. That should be offered as a perk.\r \r I hear what you're saying about Skyrim. Although, I do think the animations have a come a long way from previous games. I'm just a little let down by how easy the dragon fights seem to be so far.

Are you still playing on \"Adept\" or whatever the initial difficulty is because you can change that at any time - beef it up a bit. I think they made it a little to easy for the default. Yeah the animations are WAY better than Oblivion but still not AAA quality compared to some games we're seeing.
