Spring is in the air

I wanted my daughter to get an early start on her school work today so we got up at 8am.  While she was working on her daily school work I started Spring Cleaning.  I started with her playroom, it was a massive mess, I don't know how an eight year old can be so messy lol.  After 1 hour it was all nice and clean and I even set up a table for my Aerogrow, indoor hydroponic garden.  Next was the kitchen; not too bad at first, started with washing all the dishes and cleaning the countertops, then it was time for the stove and the oven.  After 2 hours of scrubbing the non self cleaning gas oven my hands and the rest of my body is wore out.  At least my oven looks almost new [View Image]  Maybe I should scrub the oven more often!  I'm still not done though, I think this will take all weekend to get done.  Too many damn rooms in my house!  Next is the laundry room, then my daughters room, then my bedroom and last will be the gameroom.  The other rooms just aren't that important lol.  I'm trying to get all of this done, plus outside work, before out trip to Las Vegas next week.  It's gonna be a long hard weekend, but in the end it will be worth it!  I hate going away on trips and coming home to a dirty house, I'd rather work hard and get it all clean so it's nice when I get back.
