Some Good News...
I guess.
My company has redesignated my job title. I used to be a "Circuit Designer" but now we've been designated as "Network Engineers". This is good for us as it gives us a little more job security as a "Network Engineer" is considered a technical skill job, whereas a "Circuit Designer" was considered a non-technical position and could be possibly out-sourced in the future. Woot! Network Engineers also have a higher pay scale, so I may experience a pay adjustment to bring me up to a level consistant with the job title. We'll see I guess.
