So now I can play Halo...without bifocals!

I'm so excited!  Hubby ordered me a new TV (well, its an LCD monitor actually) to play Halo 3 on.   What a sweet, thoughtful man.  No diamonds for me, just a bigger screen to kill my friends on.  He knows what a girl likes!  View Image  Take a peek, this is what I have been playing on:


A 13" Toshiba.  The TV itself is great but I practically need a magnifying glass to see that Jonny sniped me, Ruckus betrayed me, Spidey beat me down, CoolHwhip splattered me, PBR t-bagging me or seeing that Mulch got a triple kill from me, Flap and Enemy in the Warthog.  View Image  It sucked playing games that had text that was already 10x too small but to then have it seem even smaller on my little screen. A 20" ViewSonic.

It seems fair to me that I'm getting a bigger screen, after all......this is his:


A 42" Toshiba.  One day we will aspire to a huge flat screen on the wall upstairs and then we both will have big screens, but this will do just fine for now.  View Image

Very cool- the detail will pop for you now- you'll be amazed at what you can see. Sweet!\r \r My next is going to be the +50\" Bravia, but I love my XBR tube- I'm a bit torn- WAY bigger, or stay where I'm at? Boo, superfluous spending habits, boo! :)

Nice, the View Sonics won some \"editors choice\" awards and a comparison in Game Informer-must be good!\r Most people that have multiple choices on their tv/monitors seem to like=campaign big screen for the awwwww effect. 20-24\" for the competative advantage. Enjoy.

I regularly game on my projector, but I'll be doing a good bit of H3 gaming in the next 2 weeks on my 24\" Dell monitor. I'm looking forward to it.\r \r You're going to love that monitor. If you need a cheap 360 VGA cable, check the used bin in your local EB or GS. I hear they're less than $15 used if you can find them. Myself, I have a no-name one I got from eBay that works just fine.

Awesome news Queen! I just got a 19\" LCD WideScreen Monitor with HDMI inputs for my Elite. HOLY S@#% what a difference!!!!\r \r :)

You'lll enjoy it Queen. I play on a 20\" widescreen LCD as well and I love it. Good for you. Now you can see my bags up close and in slow mo :)

Outstanding Queen. Frank is the man. Maybe Frank got this to help you with betraying me. Just wait till you see yourself betraying me. You are really going to be laughing. Also remember what I said last night about the flame thrower in H3 and how good that is going to look.
