So I have a bad habit of saying....
"What, do you wanna cookie?" I go to get mine and my little girls hair cut. It was a late appointment and I had to take the little man with me (who will be turning 3 next week). As he quietly plays with his cars and my daughter colors in her coloring book I'm getting my hair chopped off. No more "growing it out". I can't stand it. Anyways, once I'm done my daughter is up in the chair. When she is nearly done I say to my son "Pick up your cars because we are ready to leave." The hairdresser then says to him "You've been a very good boy while your mommy and sister got their hair cut!" He looks her square in the face and oh, so serious says "Do you want a cookie?"

SWEEET, I love moments like that, my daughter, only 2 1/2, is learning her colors and in the grocery store shes calling them out and pointing at them, sure enough a black guy walks by and she says \"Black!!!\" with a smile on her face, and if you dont acknnowledge yes dear that is black she just keeps repeating it ..... I couldnt help but laugh the guy just shook his head and kept walking. Oh well.
