Sadness

I
ixtab

I want to prefix this with one simple statement.

I am not an animal person

my wife on the other hand loves her animals, which is why we have so many.

I love my wife and don't like seeing her upset.

yesterday she took Toby her/our favorite dachshund to the vet, he has cancer.

surgery is out, the best case scenario is 6-18 months if we do kemo.

so the wife is in tears calling vets to get an appointment to have him put to sleep, I hate this..............

R.I.P.

Do you get extra services?

No, unfortunately, \"happy endings\" are not offered.\r \r Although, I wish they were!

I bet if you ask the elephant, he would say the flicking is the best part. \r \r Now, to get the bollywood chick, music and elephant together - that would be a cool video.

I think I've played R6 with some of those guys in the SWAT video (especially the one that shorted the grenade).

Do you not remember Stiffler getting off like that in American Pie 2 I believe? Can't remember which one but it was funny.

it always seems like that when ya go to the vet to, bastards always trying to squeeze money. \r our vet is pretty good and fortunately chloe has been healthy for over a yr now, meaning no more knee surgeries. \r \r

Some words of wisdom I once heard...'Theres no such thing as a free dog.'\r \r My 3 dogs cost a lot of money but having them around and seeing the things they do really makes me happy. When they sit in front of me while I'm playing on the 360 or waiting outside the bathroom door. A good game of fetch improves my mood and the dogs mood.

Nah, I know that dogs ain't free. Maci cost $250, and I know that on average, a family will spend appx. $4500 on a dog throughout its lifetime.

Damn Soup... from the title I thought the dog died. Whew, that was a close one, lol.

Dood, I've got 3 big dogs, and 2 of them almost always have an ear infection. It's something you get used to taking care of at home. As long as you keep an eye, or a nose, on it, they usually don't get very bad.

Sorry to hear about that. It is always hard to lose a pet.

I am sorry to hear that, tab. I can understand your wife's feelings. To some, pets become more than just critters to have.

Sorry about that, what a bummer. I actually have a dog named Toby as well. He's been the best dog but is really old and probably not going to make it much longer. Dogs are the best.

thanks for all the kind words\r its a shame Toby is only 3 or 4 years old\r I've got a Doberman thats 9 or 10 that i thought we would lose long before any of our dachshunds. :(
