Once again the CROUP bug has hit. My poor poor boys. Croup is a viral infection and when children cough they sound like a seal barking. Treatment is: not alot. 1) Steam filled room 2) sit outside and let the cold air hit their throat 3) ER visit for a breating treatment. That's my fun!!!

If your boys get it a lot, talk to your doctor about getting a nebulizer with steroids for home use.\r

Once you think Croup is coming on in them, you can get them on the nebulizer and that will minimize how bad it gets as well as shorten their sick time.
Ouch my son just had RSV so I know where you are coming from. Does your insurance provider pay for breathing treatment machines, b/c if they do it is very helpful to have a travel one around. \r

We got one when my son was sick and it seemed to help, even if it just made him feel a little better.
