RROD? Should I worry

My xbox has frozen a few times in the last few days... It's an Elite and just over a year old... should I worry? I froze twice so far doing dashboard stuff.  Before that it froze playing allout, but only in the very beginning.

Is this just a sign of evil to come?

someone hold me.

Sorry but that is usually how it starts, at least M$ will fix it for free once it red rings. 8(

I wouldn't worry yet. It took us a couple times to get the thing to load as well

Yes. worry.\r \r My year old elite did the same thing. It started locking up and then RROD.

Mine acted the same way. I think it took about two weeks for mine to finally go, too. Maybe if you play the hell out of it, it will speed things along so you'll have it back in time for xmas.

Worry and then hope your hubby will send it in or go replace it with the warranty

I've had 2 freezes on the new dashboard myself and my unit was just replaced last month (for the 6th time).\r \r If your unit actually gave you the rings, then yes...call and get it over with. Its coming, there's nothing you can do about it. If you're just getting freezing/lag on like the new friends list, I wouldn't sweat it just yet.

I would be prepared. The occassional lockups are certainly signs of RROD. I've had 2 go down the same way. Hopefully you have the 3 year warranty with Best Buy or another outlet.
