Rock and a Hard Place

Hello, So last saturday I come home from a LONG day at work, check my Facebook page, and sit down for my dose of daily challenges on Halo Reach.  Press the guide button on my pretty silver Reach edition controller, turn around to fire up some netflix on my blue-ray player and relax.  I am puzzled not to hear the usual BLEEP BLOOP(I love Caboose) of my XBL  Upon turning to see what is up, I discover see the one thing I had hoped not to see ESPECIALLY on a five month old Halo REACH 360, a red dot and nothing on my screen.  After some investigating and a heated call to xbox, I have have discovered my Video port seems to be the problem!  The green light comes on when I turn on my system without any video hookups but goes red when I attach either my S-VGA, AV, or HDMI cables.  If any one has any idea about what is wrong with this system PLEASE respond I have NOTHING else to do while I wait for my Shipping label

as much as it sucks, you can't really bypass the issue. if you're desperate to play some games, you could look into getting a used console core (assuming your xbox is pre-slim) and attach your harddrive ot it. run a quick profile recovery and viola, you'll be in halo within the hour.
