Respect?
Anyone know what happened to respect? Is there anything left that people respect? Clearly, a whole bunch of people have no respect for themselves, or for others, or for elders, or for rules, or for laws, or for government, or for fairness or for privacy. So tell me, is there anything still out there that people DO respect? This might sound like a rant, but it's really just curiosity. I just see so many people who have no respect for any of the things I do respect, that I am really wondering if the concept is just outdated and fading away.
Thoughts?

Oh (sock it to me, sock it to me, sock it to me, sock it to me). A little respect (sock it to me, sock it to me,sock it to me, sock it to me).
Respect went out the door as soon as parents started telling their kids they were SPECIAL.
Yeah, I'm not sure where fear fits in. I don't fear very much, and I certainly haven't feared the people I've most respected in life.\r

So why is it that I don't go into the 15 items or less line when I have 20 items. Why don't I park in the Expectant Mother parking spaces? Fear? Of what? I certainly see plenty of others break those rules consequence free.\r

Tough one.
I respect integrity over everything else. I respect you blog, but I fart in your general direction.\r

I see respect in the same young people that I do in older people.... meaning the ones that were raised properly by their parents. The problem is fewer people are raising kids correctly.
