If ya'll ever get the chance to somehow get to the actual Normandy celebration, take it. I worked a VIP detail for the 60th anniversary and I'm tellin' ya, it's something else. You will not forget it. And to stand by the bunkers on Omaha and Utah and see what our guys were up against...it's amazing...sad too, because every year there's fewer and fewer of them around. As Jigs said, thank you for reminding us.

More people need to be reminded. Too many take what we have for granted.
