Redneck night with the boys...

Tonight marks the annual Father-Son event for the elementary school two of my kids attend, my youngest son and daughter. Each year, the moms get together and plan out events that match up one of the parents with one gender of child for a night out. Another example, for my daughter, is the annual Father-Daughter Social consisting of a semi-formal dinner/dance at the school where that dads stand around the perimeter of the gym while the girls all do the Macarena together.

For tonight I get to be a redneck with my son! Yeee hawwww! After work, it's over to pick him up at the house, treat him to a dinner at the fast food joint of his picking, and then to the Sovereign Bank Arena in Trenton for....THUNDAR THUNDAR THUNDAR....

That's right...Monster Trucks. It'll start with a trip down into the pits and the dirt to see the trucks up close and personal with the kids, and then a loud...very LOUD even of trucks crashing and flipping and who knows what other carnage, all to the screams and glee of a bunch of elemenary schoolers. I can't wait.
