I was rear-ended on my way to work this morning. And no, it wasn't by a large black man while reaching for the soap in a public shower. The girl who hit me was driving a white Nissan. We both pulled to the shoulder to access the damage. I didn't even look at her until I'd seen the bumper of my truck. Oddly, I wasn't upset at all. She had placed a little paint on the chrome but nothing that warranted an accident report. I told her there wasn't any damage, be careful and have a nice day. I'm not certain if she was on a cell phone or reading a book. Accidents happen. Luckily, this one was more minor than minor.

When I got rear-ended, I just let my insurance company deal with his insurance company.\r \r I still had to pay a $500 deductible, but I will be getting that back shortly.\r \r Also, don't go through Enterprise. Their pricing on rentals sucks. I found that out when I had to have a rental for over 3 weeks.\r \r See if his insurance will support Budget. They are a lot better (In my opinion) and will give you a better deal even if you are only getting $25 a day for the rental.

Soup, between the military, the MRI, getting rear ended, and everything else, I beginning to suspect that we're living the same life. :shock:

Deja vu, Bionazzi....hmm. I'd watch him Soup when Bio's around it seems the feces tends to hit the rotating oscillator.

good deal that it was a super minor thing. That's why cars have 5mph rated bumpers on them. With my commute most of the rear end encounters I've seen were an order of magnitude faster than that.
