Racism is the new black.
I just spent the last 20 minutes in an outpost in Guild Wars listening to a group of five players make the most horrifying racist and misogynist comments imaginable. WTF?
This isn't the first time this has happened either, it's pretty common actually. What is it about multiplayer games that attracts this type of person? The ability to run their mouth without being physically present? And why are there so many of them? Is this representative of the population as a whole and I'm just seeing a random percentage of the population? That give me the creeps.
Do those of you that play Xbox or other online games see a lot of this too, or is this more of a PC game problem? I'd like to know.

Hopefully it wasnt a member of this site.....was it?\r
Part of the reason this site exists is to help isolate us from much of that nonsense.\r
I understand the feeling, some gamers seem to not have much of a vocabulary if you removed their racial slurs, sad.\r
I've been in custom games with members of this site when \"friends\" of one of the members used such language and were booted from the room on more than one occasion.\r
Its not looked upon favorably here, were not perfect here but the members try to nip this stuff in the bud.\r
Hang around 2o2p and you'll see this minimized :)\r
good folk here Ujaya, good folk!
