Puppies

So a month or so ago, my wife and I took one of our English Bulldogs to the breeder we got her from to get her impregnated. A couple weeks went by, and we didn't notice any change in her demeanor, and thought that it didn't take. Well, a couple weeks ago we noticed that Lola's (her name) belly was starting to swell, and we took her to the vet for an ultrasound. She confirmed at least 5 puppies, but her exact words were "she is loaded". There could be as many as eight in there.

Lola will go in for a cesarean 11/21 -the day before Thanksgiving. Why does she need to have a cesarean? Apparently bulldogs have a hard time giving birth naturally as the head and shoulders on a bulldog are kind of hard to pass through via regular vaginal birth. I have that afternoon off to go in with her as does my wife, but I'm on the fence as to whether or not I am going to go into the actual delivery room.

Now I need to locate a cord that will connect my digital camera to my pc. Does anyone know if I can just buy a replacement cable? I would suspect that they are all the same for most brands of cameras.
