Post-Op

Went and got the packing removed out of my nose this morning.

Talk about releif.  I can now breathe through my nose easier today.  However, since they removed the packing, the inside of my nose has swollen almost shut so I still feel pretty stuffed up.

I'm pretty weak.  I forgot how much general anesthesia and surgery take out of a person.  I actually get colder then my wife, which never happens.  I even start shivering and my teeth chatter, so I'm always bundled up right now or under a blanket.

Generally though, I feel 10x better then yesterday.  My post-op procedures will be mundane if not tedious, as i have do a rinse of my nose 3-4 times a day as well as clean the inside of it with a q-tip soaked in peroxide.  Then it gets a coating of Polysporin.  We also bought 2 new humidifiers as the air down here is quite dry at the moment, and that is the last think my nose needs, is to be overly dry.

Ok, I've about had it just sitting here and typing.  Gonna go take a nap.
