planning the trip

I have officially cancelled the NE Lan.  It just wasn't meant to be.  But now my road trip I want to take instead is growing steadily.  This is the short list:


Knoxville:  330 miles


Richmond:  434 miles


Manchester:  596 miles


New York:  255 miles


Ottawa:  441 miles


Toronto:  452 km  (how many miles is that???)


Then there is Detroit, Cleveland, oops, starting to go in the wrong direction.  Kansas, Oklahoma, Oregon, Arizona, California, Texas.......I have traveled all over Europe several times by train.  Great fun!  But my own United States?  NOT!  I am geographically challenged.  For instance, did I know Oregon was on the opposite coast?  Well, sorta, but the miles!  Yikes!  And meemos waiting on her front step for me.  LOL  If I start now, maybe I could just keep traveling and make my last stop the Chicago Lan, if it is indeed in Chicago.  Or wherever.  And whenever.


All of the above are day trips, not too bad.  But the west coast!  And a certain person has promised me a spot in his hot tub......  I'll never tell.  Oh yeh, I gotta pick up Jeep on the way, too.  Well, can you get away for a few months?  LOL

Oregon is wonderful in late May-Early June. But you will really want at least a week just for the drive down the coast (unless that isn't your thing).\r \r Good luck with the trips!
