Papahanaumokuakea

Time magazine dated August 4 2008 has an article on coral reefs in danger. it's nice of them to point that out, but what burned me was that it sounds like they give george bush all the credit for creating the Papahanaumokuakea Marine National Monument.

fuck george bush.

i guess it's ok to ignore all the people who worked to make this happen and give the credit to the person who's hardest job was to sign the declaration. i guess he's trying to reverse his status as probably the worst environmentally conscious president ever.

if you want to see what it's about, here it is: hawaiireef.noaa.gov/welcome.html

Sure....blame the guy for how the media portrays him. I mean I'm sure that he just allocated that area of water for the brownie points right ? The guy couldn't possibly give a shit eh ?\r \r Duuuude. \r \r

Typical. When he doesn't do \"enough\" for the environment, he gets all the flame and hate. When he does help to do something, it's not good enough or he doesn't deserve any credit. Whose the real hypocrite here?

no, i don't think george bush gives a shit. as a matter of fact, i don't think he even knows what he signed. he probably thought it was an ok to start drilling for oil there instead of protecting it.\r \r besides, my point was that time magazine gave all the credit to bush without even mentioning anyone else.\r \r \"who's the hypocrite here?\" that doesn't even make sense!
