Ouch!

I am home from work today.  Not a bad day to call out, since it is the beginning of a 4 day weekend that I just turned into 5.  My back is very unhappy, tho.  I went to my CPR recertification class yesterday and apparently spent so much time "practicing" chest compressions that I pulled something in my back.  CPR is actually hard work!  And the "dummies" were on a table that I had to lean over and ooooooo my lower back.  So, as long as I am upright, I can walk slowly and stiffly.  I can't bend without a lot of pain, and I can't lift at all.  Sounds like a day off to me!  Ouch!  Even my coffee cup feels heavy....

Update:  My new friend has assured me that he is not a rapist or mass murderer, and I think I believe him.  lol  We are in contact a lot on vent while playing WoW, email, and phone.  We are meeting soon at a public place (hear that?  PUBLIC PLACE!!!) at a halfway mark between him and me.  Sorta.  Don't know yet, but a coffee date would be nice.  Or lunch.  Or just walking and talking, if it's a nice day.  Something simple.  So, who wants to come with me and be my bodyguard?  View Image    Or a fly on the wall?

Ahhhhh, life is good.

kids' ages... yeah, when describing ages, I always hold my hands at about how far from the ground they reach when standing... if the other person knows kids, they know the ages in question. If not, well, they know as much as I do and the point gets across either way!

getting drunk is like regressing to childhood - logic escapes, motor skills collapse, and it's fun to do even the dumbest stuff!

the 23\" ones always do this. It's a developmental thing\r \r I can't wait until I get my own 23\" child :)

you're a better person then I. I laugh in front of them. When my oldest was 23\" high ;) he was playing \"come and get me\" and was looking over his shoulder and racing down the hall, he turned his head just in time to connect squarely with the bathroom door knob. \r Here is my poor baby bleeding all over the place and Im nearly peeing my pants laughing. \r Its a good thing though, kids tend to take their cues from the big people. If the big people gasp and act alarmed, then they scream. If the big people Laugh and dont seem worried, they tend to shake it off and laugh too.

Either way, just be careful. Wackos seem nice at first or he could be a nice guy. If he is he wont mind you being cautious for as long as it takes.
