On being flexible
If it's not the weather, it's work schedules. I have had this whole Christmas season flipped over and turned inside out and backwards, and I still come out on top! Changing plans at the last minute can be fun. Or not. So, it seems I am not having Christmas Eve at my place after all. What this time? Work schedule. Not mine, my grandson's. Yikes! I have a hard time believing he is old enough to hold down a job, and starts college in the fall. Anyways, it is HIS work schedule that screwed things up. So, now my daughter is having Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, both! One for each side of the family. Why don't we all just come at one time? Dunno. But gson gets off work at 7:00 and could not get to my place until after 8:00, which is too late. Hopefully this time the plans are final.
1. Christmas Eve around 4:00 until.......
2. Sleep fast and take off for Chester, VA to meet some of the family and have Christmas dinner. After dinner, off to see another friend that lives in the same town. Small world!!
3. To Williamsburg for some quiet time, a glass of wine, and who knows?
4. After sleeping fast again, off to Busch Gardens (the make up day for last week). Hope the weather is descent.
5. Next day, the drive home, with a minor detour for my grandson's birthday. 18!!!!! Can't miss that!
6. Is it Monday morning already? Work? awwwwwww, can't I just sleep in?
It will be a jam-packed 4 days, and I will luv every minute of it! Oh, yeh.... I saw Avatar in 3D yesterday. WAY COOL!!!!! It is a must see! And, one more thing. I get my baby car back tomorrow!!!! Finally! I have been carless for almost 2 weeks.
