NY Toy Fair
Representing the 501st /Empire City Garrison I attended the NY Toy Fair at the Javits Center on 02/15/2009 and 02/16/2009. I was there to promote the new Uncle Milton Star Wars Science line. This was a closed toy industry event for buyers and media, and we were there to help them get some additional attention. We “Guarded” their Top Secret closed booth, where they displayed the new Star Wars Science toy line and demonstrated the new “Force Trainer” toy. It was a bit grueling standing there for over 20hrs, over the 2 days, but we had a great time doing it. We definitely generated some real excitement and a buzz at their booth. The Force trainer is incredibly cool and it will be out by July. I was also at ComicCon the previous week and got to see some of the Video Game presentations, and they were demonstrating the GTA expansion pack for the 360 and the GTA : Chinatown Wars for the DS. I'm the clean trooper, and you can see me in the background in the NY1 segment.
