Not Really....

So it turns out that if you don't have the power cord properly plugged into the 360 you will get the RRoD. My son didn't plug it in right so there you go. I came home and checked it out, just needed to be done right, go figure. Good news for everyone, for once.

Playing Mass Effect, another black hole to fall into and loose hours per day. Assassin's Creed is on the way!

That's funny - it was the first thing Pradeep asked me when my 360 red ring'd. Unfortunately for me, it did *not* fix the problem. But my replacement is here! Yay!

check your manual..... different problems bring up red rings, you need to see which quadrant the lights are in and the see what it says

I occasionally have a heart attack when I turn on the xbox without the video cable plugged in. Up comes the RRoD, I curse and then quickly check connections.....whew....

We had some power blips yesterday, they weren't enough to shut off my computer but the xbox freaked out and did the RRoD thing. Turning it off and back on fixed it but ya, the 360 is very power sensitive.

This is random, but your avatar pic kind of reminds me of Dane Cook in Mr. Brooks:\r \r http://i.imdb.com/Photos/Ss/0780571/6.jpg

This is part of the reason that the barely understandable customer service reps ask you all those dumbass questions. Because of stuff like this.... Thank you. jk
