New to Site!
So I just saw this website on the dashboard and could not believe I have been playing on Live since the first xbox and did not know about this site. Not many of my colleagues play video games and honestly I don't get to play as much as I'd like because of my busy schedule. It still would be great if the times I do get to play were full of meaning full games instead of random matches with people who play way more than I do and are far younger than me. But I've pm'd a few clan moderators and hopefully I'll finally be able to get some good team based games. I did send a friend request to one person on the forums directly, which must be a bad thing because the message I got back wasn't the most friendly. Oh well, lesson learned.

It's always a good idea to include the info that you are from 2o2p. Even with that though there are some people here that are just not all that friendly. It's to be expected in a community this large, but sorry it had to be your first.\r

Spend a little time in the game specific forums and read a few posts. It will be pretty obvious who is approachable and who is just looking to connect with a tighter knit group. That plus getting into a clan is always a good idea too. Take your time picking one, they come in a lot of flavors and even getting in with a strong one doesn't mean you can't game with others on the site, so, no rush.\r

You might want to consider filling out some of your info here. It's a lot easier to decide to accept a friend request if you know the person is playing the same things you are, they are geographically close (in your time zone!), or that you might share some common interests.\r

Right now we are getting an extraordinarily high number of newcomers thanks to Waterborn's efforts with the Community Playdate. Any other time as one of 10-15 new guys a week you would probably get a lot more attention and direction, but we're all stretched a little thin with a couple hundred new people flooding in. Hope we can still get a chance to make a good first impression though! Enjoy the site.
