Needles in my ear. I need a beer.

I think the needles in my ear are working.  Today at lunch, I wasn't very hungry, and that was almost 6 hours since I had last eaten.

I'm still apprehensive, but I'll give it more time.  I know it is going to take more then needles in my ear to help me lose weight.

The wife has given me the green light to go and buy a 360.  I was going to wait and see if they were going to drop the price, but it is doubtful they will, so I should have it by the end of this month.

Getting my 360 hinges on my insurance company settling the subragation with the insurance company of the guy who rear-ended me.  That gives me my $500 deductible back, but also a settlement from the other company for "pain and suffering" which should be around $2500.  Money that we could really use right now.

Hopefully they'll get things squared away before Xmas.  The accident was back in June.

This woman is amazing...  In some mud hut in some backwater country, she is still impressively beautiful.

I don't like the lessons never learned line, however, the picture is funny :)\r \r At least it isn't an important limb needed for driving a motorcycle.

Jolie, and do not forget to check the born on date of your 360. Remember you want one as close to today as you can..At the very least sometime in 2006.

Good for you for trying to lose weight. Eating stuff that makes you feel full is a big help. Things like vegetables have a lot of fiber and really have a high \"full feeling\"/calorie ratio. At the opposite end of the spectrum are chips and soda and the like. These are basically skeletalized foods that short circuit your body's signal of \"Ok, I'm full, time to stop eating.\"\r \r Also, adding muscle is a great way to burn up calories. You burn up an extra 50 calories/day for every pound of muscle you add. It raises your metabolism so you're burning more calories even just sitting at your desk or playing Halo. http://precisiontraining.com/ has a PDF book with a superb approach to gaining muscle. It sounds too good to be true, but you can make steady gains by working out for about 30 minutes every couple of weeks. I've used it for about a year. Great for people without tons of extra time for exercise.
