National Hate Week

Supposedly, this week is "National Hate Week".

So, each day, I will attempt to post 5 things that I absolutely hate.  Not sure if I'll be able to come up with 25 total, but I'll give it my damndest.

So, without further adieu:

1.  Mother-in-Laws - Why do they haunt us men?  What is it about them that just rubs us the wrong way?  For me?  It's my MIL's constant bible thumping, and connecting every conversation towards Christ in some way.  This woman is the ultimate matyr and I just get sick of hearing the God talk 24/7 when she is visiting, or when I'm visiting her.  I'm happy to isolate myself in my latest fiction book and just zone her out.

2.  Left Lane Drivers - In particular those who drive SLOW.  Hello?  Left lane is for the people going FASTER then the other 2 lanes.  Get the fuck out of that lane if you aren't going to drive the speed limit or above it.

3.  Chick Flicks - Is there nothing original out there anymore?  I'm not a huge fan of the chick flick to begin with, but there really hasn't been anything worth a shit since what?  Sleepless in Seattle?  And no, I'm sorry, but Marley and Me is not a chick flick.  My father cannot make it through an entire movie without falling asleep.  He remained awake for this entire movie, and I could tell he was close to crying because of his own similar experiences with our favorite Lab, Murphy.  BTW, it's really a decent movie.  Just wish Owen Wilson wasn't the Male lead.

4. Lay-Offs - God I'm sick and tired of these.  I've lost count of how many I've survived the past 8 years.  Somewhere around 18-20 of them.  All they do is increase the stress, the workload, and the over all down turn of morale.  Fuck lay-offs.

5. Drost - How did this prick ever become Overlord of the best clan on this site?  He's a surly, easily irritated, and grumpy fucker.  It's amazing he's held the Clan together this long.  What a dooshbag.  What a maroon.  What a Choad.  ;)
