N.E.R.D.
My thoughts can only be shared here. Amongst the only people who understand my brand of geekdom, gaming. With a throbbing, why did I drink that headache, I type.
Went to a girlfriend's halloween party last night, and when the liquor rolled, so did my mouth, about gaming. I was instantly isolated. Surrounded by my girlfriends and their husbands, one of whom is even on my XBL friend's list, a mere mention of, "Yah, Dee plays games" became my word vomit of COD6 is coming out, and Lego Rockband is great for kids, and I enjoy my PS3's graphic card more so than the Xbox's.
They raise their eyebrow, politely smile, and walk away.
Yah, I'm the token nerd of my group.
Grreeaaaaat.

If someone says something to me about it, I just remind them of one of their silly habits, hobbies, etc... Plus, I am home, not spending money and can't lose my license for drinking and driving! :)
