…..to blog today! Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday. Our day was hectic but fun. We watched fireworks Tuesday night. My daughter loved them, however, my son wasn’t so keen on the loud “boom’s”. Yesterday was the parade and the communities little 4th of July celebration. As I told you before my daughter was in the “Little Miss Firecracker” contest. She got Honorable Mention. There were some pretty cute ideas. I’ll post some of the pictures. Personally (I know, I am biased…I am her mother after all) but the first and third place winners were not the best ones there. There were at least two-three other little girls I would have picked over them.


TGIT (Thank goodness it is Thursday). It has been a long week already.

3rd place was a joke...I liked the little flag dress/betsy ross style one..\r \r You little one should have at least been top 3.

Looks like fun. We just went to a movie and then had a few friends over for Ice Cream and Pineapple Pie. \r \r I agree with lbsutke as well!

Our kid is off denting innocent peoples fenders and no matter what I have heard, we do not have empty nest syndrome! What little town is that? My folks live in Kenton (where I was a little Speedbyrd) Sometimes I miss small towns and the cool stuff you can do with the fam,... that we can't do in the city. Well usless you go armed and ready for combat.
