My Father

So my father has been in a nursing home since April due to his alzheimers/dementia and his other various medical issues that we could not care for. His health has been declining rapidly over the months and its finally come to a head for him. The nursing home discovered he has pnemonia and was very lathargic so they sent him up the hospital and while they were up there they found he has pnemonia on both sides of his lungs his kidneys are shutting down due to dehydration , a unrinaray infection, blood sugar is really high. So the Dr tried some antibiotics which didn't work then she tried something else also consulted other Dr's along with different scans and everytime they try one thing my fathers body rejects it and comes up with another problem. So we had 2 options to keep trying different medcines that will not help or give him strong pain meds andd keep him comfortable and we chose the 2nd one cause the Dr has done everything she could think of and it's what my father would want . So right now he's still in the hospital and we are just waiting for the call..I have a request for anyone that reads my blogs that if they could say a prayer that he is taken quickly and without pain..
