My Easter...

So it was a great weekend. In the Federal Civil Service we get a full 4 days off. It's sorta odd in Ottawa when the Feds get the day off: there is no traffic, but the shopping is insanity. It's sorta sad, but Remembrance Day is pretty much the kick off for the Christmas shopping season. Easter is sorta like that too. Everyone is out on Monday getting stuff for spring. I helped out the nation's economy by getting cheap clothes for workouts and a little pool for the summer. Tried to find a smimsuit for Erica, but they only have bikinis. Now, the main reason why I don't want her in a bikini... more opportunity for sunburn. But you wouldthink I could find a one piece? nope/ Whatever.

Anyway: the turkey was okay, but very dry. This after I told my clan I was a good cook. No baster will do that. Oh... overcooking the bird will make it dry too! But who cares? There is homemade Trukey Noodle Soup, and Turkey sandwiches are fantastic with lots of mayo!

Who knew ice cream could be eaten with fingers?
