My band playing in New Orleans

So, my band, which started out as just an occasional jam band to get together and relieve stress is blowing up pretty big! We've got some pretty big gigs lined up in the coming month, and are currently working on getting the opening spot for the Revend Horton Heat when he plays New Orleans in June!

Anyhoo.....here's a bit of footage from a gig in New Orleans a few weeks back. The quality is pretty bad as it was taken with a video camera, but it's a pretty good representation of our sound. We run through a couple of songs we just added to the set, so there's a couple of flubs (well, that plus I was nervous as hell, and had taken advantage of the free beer!!) The PA at this place was the crappiest one I've ever seen, so I had to pretty much scream to be heard, so the vocals are not the best, but it still was a pretty good performance. About 80 people showed up, and we ended up getting paid for the gig (plus free beer), so it was a success. It was an after party for an art gallery next door, and we were doing it as a favor for a friend. The pay was a very nice surprise!

Thanks guys!\r \r Taka....don't worry...I'll remember the \"little people\" :-P\r \r He Hilskie. Yeah, Bryan is one talented mofo. He can rock the hell out of that bass. We were lucky to find him. Greg our drummer used to play for a death metal band, and he can pound the hell out of those skins.
