Movie Secrets 101

Here is one that most people don't know (or care probably), some films will average shooting a scene a day(and a film is not shot in order). Thats a pretty good pace for a feature film. Some scenes will get shot over a couple of days, depending on the leangth and importance of the scene. And then there is the weird scene I have been forced to sit through for the past 3 days. Over 3hrs of footage for less then 5 min of the movie. It is an important scene, but its less then 5 min, simple dialoge, you would think it could have been done in a day.
