did the people last year have some warranty or something with their work?\r \r that sucks man, Texas in August with no AC..ouch

I am in the same boat. My repairman says there is a leak of coolant somewhere in the lines that would require tearing out drywall blah blah blah. He said it is cheaper to have him come out once a year to refill it. BS I am going to track that damn leak down myself and fix it.

Came home from Church and the first words out of your mouth are MF? Shame on you! lol Sucks to be without air. The resistor went out on mine and a friend of mine harvests parts from AC units he replaces. He charged me fifty bucks to replace the resistor (took him five minutes) gave me two more used ones and showed me how to replace them. Pretty easy. Pretty common problem. Might want to try replacing yourself.

Been there and it sucks. I do like the irony of the lesson in church though. LOL!
