Guild Wars: Game of the Year - 23 January 2007
In a recent announcement, MMORPG.com recognized Guild Wars as recipient of their Game of the Year editorial award. They say, "Guild Wars is innovative and entertaining while continuing to grow and please their fans. That’s enough to make this game the Best of 2006."

I've played Guild wars since I'ts inception. Being a little burned out, I decided to skip Nightfall but maybe I should pick it up after all.

NF is great, I love the story/lore and i love the scenery you meet old and new enemies alike (gates of madness). Heroes are fun to tinker with too. I like the armor system with the insignias and stuff.
