More Hometown News

A few times I have linked articles here regarding the crime that occurs in my town - and I feel that I should also show the nice side, too.  The downtown area is in a super-revitalization stage right now, the newspaper stats that 3 of every 5 dollars in the city fund is being spent on construction and bringing new business here.  It's important to me, because I live a block away and the only place to eat is a mexican restaraunt.

And just for the hell of it - an 11-yr-old kid is being held for "slashing" at students at the junior high school.  He had a razor blade and slashed at as many as 5 students in an attempt to get someone else's "Eagle Buck" which is given to students with good attendance.
