Monumental day
Yesterday was a momentous day for us, and Megan. She took her first steps yesterday and also starting saying a couple of new words. She took one full step on her own and five steps using a toy walker, you know the kind with the wheels attached so kids can push it around the house. We were so proud of her. She did it while the physical therapist was watching and she almost cried. We thought this day was going to be a long time off, since she is hypotonic-low muscle tone- and not strong enough to bear her own weight. Praise be to God for answered prayers. She can also say "Uh-Oh", and "Hello". She is making such incredible progress, from where she was a month ago. Also, her hair is growing in thicker, instead of patchy, so Stacy and I are thinking of letting her hair grow out a bit. Just in case you had forgotten, the reason we have her hair cut so short is because with all the stress her body has gone through, and the medication, her hair was not growing in properly and coming out in patches. Again, the power of prayer is amazing and we want to give the Father his due praise and glory. Have a great day everyone!!!
