check the card again. Make sure you get the O's and zero's straight.\r \r I've heard of people getting \"Bad\" cards but I've bought dozens of them and never had a bad one.\r Just check it again...and again maybe?

Try entering the code again paying careful attention to numbers and letters that look similar.\r \r IF the code is truely invalid, you're kind of fucked to be honest. The store most likely won't take them back because you scratched the stuff off. And Micrsoft are real dicks about resolving these issues choosing to assume you're trying to rip them off instead of acknowledging the problem.\r \r My guess is that you're going to end up in a back and forth fight with Microsoft to get them to honor the cards which will most likely require you to either fax or send Microsoft the cards along with your receipt. \r \r Unless you're getting a great deal on points from a store, it's best to just buy them directly through the dashboard, that way there's no complications . The price is the same per point no matter if you're paying full price retail or buying through the dash.\r \r

Bludjun from Antiquity had bought a card missing numbers...MS And the store he bought it from would not givie him a refund.

I bought one and when I scratched it off I scratched off some of the numbers. Microsoft didn't help me at all so I just took it back to the store. Lucky for me, it was a young kid who really didn't give a rip so he gave me a new one. I would say try taking it back and like Tank said, buy them from the dashboard from now on.
