I've got one grandmother at the end of the disease (my last remaining grandmother..kinda a step-grandmother). I've had a great grandmother who had it but I was younger and I didn't understand or see any real issues.\r \r All I can say is, you've got time now to be able to spend with them, be thankful for that. My closest grandmother died of Lukemia only four days after being diagnosed (age 87). We had a week to spend with her, the remaining half wasn't entirely fun.\r \r Make sure you can keep them taking their med's, hang out with them as much as possible, and be thankful you'll have years to enjoy with them now.
