Melancholy
With no more 360 for an indeterminate amount of time, my life has gotten a bit blah. I guess I never quite realized how much time I spent gaming, reading about gaming, blogging and forum posting about gaming and reading the works of other such souls. Perhaps too much. I used to be a big reader, but not so in recent years. I had been thinking about taking a break from gaming, but with all the great games coming out, it wasn't going to be any time soon. Fata volentem docunt, nolentem trahunt: the fates lead the willing and drag those who are unwilling.
Consider me dragged.

Well that's really good that your son is already looking forward to college. So many get flaky after high school and want to 'take a break' or basically screw off for a few years. It's good to just get through school and then move on in your life rather than the whole break thing.\r

There aren't a lot of opportunities out there anyway in this economy, may as well go to school and ride out the recession. In 2-4 years hopefully we'll be back on the prosperous side of the econom for the middle class.\r

I loved the Gears 3 beta, i'm back on board. If it releases the same or at least similar to the beta, i'm going to be back to Gears 1 glory days. \r
