Mars: August 27th
I haven't verified this - but my Dad sent it to me via email, so it must be true! ;)
Two moons on 27 August*
*27th Aug the Whole World is waiting for...*
Planet Mars will be the brightest in the night sky starting
August. It will look as large as the full moon to the naked eye. This will culminate on Aug. 27 when Mars comes within 34.65M miles of earth. Be sure
to watch the sky on Aug. 27 12:30 am. It will look like the earth has 2 moons. The next time Mars may come this close is in 2287.
Share this with your friends as NO ONE ALIVE TODAY will ever see it again.
THIS IS TOTALLY A HOAX - SEE COMMENTS BELOW.....and thank you to those of you that checked when I was too lazy to do it 8P

One thing is correct if it was that close that it looked like the moo, NO ONE would EVER see it again.
Seems like every year at this time, this happens again! I'm sitting at my desk at work with a picture I took of Mars on September 3, 2003. It was at its closest on August 27, 2003. And it never did rival the moon in brightness.
