Battlefield : Bad Company


What can I say? I'm way bummed. This game had a lot of potential. A lot.


Unfortunately, EA seems to have taken another decent game and fucked it all up.


What's wrong?


1. No private rooms for MP.


2. Only you and 3 of your friends can go into MP together... but the teams are 12 v 12. That means you have to play with 8 people you don't know.


3. ONE gametype. One. Assault. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed it in the demo, but ONE game type gets repetitive.


4. No Clan support. No surprise here.


What a massive waste. This game could have been major competitive fun, but, yet again, EA fails.


FAIL.


EDIT:  Just a note...  the single player part of the game is very good, and very fun.  Lot's of destructible environments and stuff.  The game is beautiful, and the MP part of the game is fun, but I'm disappointed in it for the above facts.

BF:BC is suppose to release a new gametype in the near future, though it should have been included in the game

That's some terrible news about BFBC. For a game that's all about teamwork, to cripple it by having 3 sub-teams of 4 is ridiculous.\r \r It goes to show you that betas and demos are all about marketing, they don't care about any feedback they get.\r \r And I loved those graphs!

okay: BF is also odd in that you can only talk with your squad of 4. SO: you could be a medic, and there is someone on your team who needs a med pack. If they are in your squad, you can say : Dude: Med pack, right here... If they are on your team and not in your squad: you can't say anything to get them to stop running for 2 secinds so that you can heal them.\r \r This is also important when you want to.. oh I dunno... tell your team mates to get out of the path of the tank....

I hope the SP for BF:BC is very good and fun, gamefly just sent it and I've been waiting for a good fun shooter to be released...
