Magic Trick: How does it work?

\r I and the family saw Copperfield this year when he came through Phoenix. I know, I'm a nerd, but let's face it, I'm in my forties and play video games. What's that tell you?\r \r Through a chance sequence of events, I got chosen to come up on stage. After a bit, I and this other guy were told to hug these huge metal columns while they wrapped a sheet around us, blocking the audience view. I felt the column I was holding shift and when they pulled the sheet away, a full size car was right above me / us, supported by the columns we were hugging. I have no #%$ idea how he did it and I was right there.\r \r I do know the card thing though. Cool effect.

Every single card from the top is gone. No card from the bottom matches the initial set of cards to choose from. There is also one less card on the bottom making you immediately think that that card is gone. If you don't have the previous screen to compare to, you will always think your card is gone.

Actually, the trick guides you to pick the Queen of Diamonds, which is the card that is placed specifically to break the pattern, which is why your eye is drawn to it.

or the Jack of Clubs which establishes the pattern of red then black basically,you're being to choguided to choose cards

You should have seen me, I was messing with it for like 30 minutes...I was getting really creeped out. Then I showed my husband, and he saw the trick immediatley. \r \"I'm Right\" Score: Claire 995, Todd 1....lol....but that one is like the Golden Snitch...it takes the whole game.
