Madden 09 Working List
This is a working list of what needs to be improved in Madden NFL 08. Feel free to comment on some ideas. Alot of these ideas have been in previous games. My comments are mainly on the xbox 360 version.
- CPU vs CPU games. I know I'm not the only person that did this. Pit teams against eachother and watch the games. Or export my franchise team to see how they stack up against other teams.
- Field goals nets
- Chain gang. On the sidelines and measuring first downs.
- On field refs that throw flags.
- Less interceptions. I like how the secondary actually plays defense this year, but there should be many more knockdowns and broken up passes, not interceptions.
- Never show me the jumbotron. EVER. I dont want to see the result of every play on the stupid jumbotron. Keep the action on the field.
- Every time the ground causes a fumble should not require a challenge. How bought the refs call it and we'll challenge the ones they miss.
- Remove the vision cone. Completely, just remove it.
- Make kicking less automatic.
- Make lining up for extra points faster. They improved that this year, but its still the most boring play in football and should cut thru having to do it quicker.
- Announcers. Doesnt have to be Madden, but something better than the radio idiot. How come hockey games are so much better with play by play AND color commentary than a game that sells a billion copies.
- ESPN somewhere. Money well spent in buying that license.

i agree with everything here. except the espn part. they need to stay with 2k sports. which i think is an overall better football game setup. although its kinda tough to play with all the old pros still. great game. but when the vikings loose a game i want to go beat the piss out of that team on my video game. get a personal victory. know what i mean vern?
