Look! I am domestic!

My mom came over and helped me make strawberry freezer jam. What you see there is from 10 lbs of strawberrys. We have 8 more lbs we need to make. This was my first time making freezer jam, and it was all fun and domestic feeling lol. I honestly think it would have been cheaper to just buy the jam at the store though lol. It wouldnt have tasted as good though. Now Im all excited to eat some biscuits with warm jam on them.

Biscuits? You didn't tell me we had biscuits. Make sure they're nice and warm when I get home. ;)

Seriously, we are FAMILY Lady....and I haven't had any homemade jam or jelly since my grandmother died. I am curious. What is different about freezer jam than regular canning? Is freezing it part of the process or do you have to keep it in the freezer?
